McCabe and D’Angelo start for Arsenal against Manchester City

Katie McCabe starts at left-back for Arsenal in today’s WSL clash at home to Manchester City, McCabe left Emirates Stadium in a boot and on crutches on Wednesday night but her foot injury was only a bruise.

Sabrina D’Angelo starts in goal, with Noelle Maritz, Lotte Wubben-Moy, Rafaelle and McCabe in defence. Williamson starts in midfield alongside Walti and Maanum with Kim Little injured.

Victoria Pelova and Caitlin Foord start either side of Stina Blackstenius upfront. Gio has recovered from a dead leg and takes her place on the bench.

The game kicks off at 12.30pm and is live on BBC Two.

Rotation, as far as I can see. She got as far as the touchline when we scored, and looked happy enough! In the first half, we only finished a goal down, which should have been at least 3. But we got more into the game in the second half, without ever really dominating it, and took our chances to win 2-1. Though one switch of play, opened up the inside-left position for Maanum, and that resulted in a fierce shot which their goalie tipped over. That would have been a Goal of the Month contender. McCabe’s goal might be anyway!
