Arsenal midfielder Frida Maanum has been nominated for the Barclays Women’s Super League Player of the Season award.
The Norwegian has nine goals and four assists in the WSL this season. She started the season on the bench but muscled her way into the starting line-up ahead of Vivianne Miedema in October and hasn’t looked back.
Maanum is nominated alongside Rachel Daly (Aston Villa), Bunny Shaw (Manchester City), Leah Galton (Manchester United), Ona Batlle (Manchester United), Guro Reiten (Chelsea), Sam Kerr (Chelsea) and Kirsty Hanson (Aston Villa). You can vote for Frida here.
