Zinsberger only change from Leicester game for Arsenal Women, Foord on the bench

Manu Zinsberger starts in goal for Arsenal away at Brighton in the WSL this evening and that is the only change for Jonas Eidevall’s team following Friday’s 1-0 win at home to Leicester. Caitlin Foord is on the bench after five weeks out with a hamstring injury.

That means Wubben-Moy, Beattie and Rafaelle play in a back three, with Maritz and McCabe as wing-backs either side of Lia Walti and Frida Maanum in midfield.

Stina Blackstenius is fit enough to start upfront with Pelova and Kuhl again playing as dual 10s behind her. Youngsters Ruby Doe and Freya Godfrey make the bench as Michelle Agyemang and Laila Harbert join up with England for the U17s Euros.

1.Zinsberger; 3.Wubben-Moy, 5.Beattie, 2.Rafaelle; 16.Maritz, 12.Maanum, 13.Walti, 15.McCabe; 21.Pelova, 22.Kuhl; 25.Blackstenius.

Subs: 14.D’Angelo, 18.Marckese, 19.Foord, 20.Gio, 27.Taylor, 29.Goldie, 59.Agyemang, 63.Gregory, 64.Doe.

I don’t see Agyemang on the club’s official team sheet – Freya Godfrey is on it though

Collibosher

The article says she’s with the England under-17s.

I’m sure that that part wasn’t there when I commented🤔

Half time and already 4 nil to the ladies. Gotta feel for them, so many bad injuries to the squad this season yet still in 3rd place. Can only wonder what would have happened if we hadn’t lost Beth, then Viv, then Kim 🤔
