Yay yayee!

Our bench is so weak

Weakest bench I’ve seen in a long time… Illness in the group maybe? Otherwise is rubbish luck with injuries

It’s a leg stretching bench. 3 nil by the 75th minute, bring in Jorge then Nelson to see game out.

Alan Sunderland

Maybe Nwaneri will get a chance if it’s 3-0.

It’s Already 4.

Alan Sunderland

Sorry, I meant to say 4 at halftime maybe Nwaneri will get a run out.

What a game

Alan Sunderland

It all clicked today.

I’m surprised after total domination against Liverpool and a week’s rest (and a week “off” to come) that we haven’t stuck with the same line up

Where is everyone? That’s half the squad missing?

Even Tomi ffs! Was happy to know he is back. Alas, he is not even in the squad. That inverting role is going to be important as West Ham will sit back a lot. But no him and Zinny is worrying.

Sit back? At home? No way West Ham is doing that. They would have smelt blood with this our lineup and would go for it.

I wish our boys all the best today. Whatever we do, whatever it takes, please bring the 3 points home🙏🏽

Could just as easily be Havertz up front and Trossard in the left eight

Indeed. Do they give the formation with the line up?

Hope not though

Walter White

Not much from the bench.
By all means don’t concede first, and we’ll have a very good chance.

Ashish Mann

Nketiah’s race is run at the club

Frustrating that we’ve wasted so much time and money on him.

We should have taken the 30 million from Palace.

Hhmm I won’t lie I’ve gone from quietly confidence to slightly concerned. Prove me wrong guys…….prove me wrong COYG!!!

Thierry Bergkamp (non negotiable)

ESR injured again?
The starting 11 have to get the job done

Man Manny

Zinchenko, Tomiyasu, Smith-Rowe and Jesus all missing? Then the starting 11 just have to do the business. We can hurt them.

I hope the starting 11 wins this game cos there’s nobody capable of winning it from the bench

Reste calme
Il y a Nelson 💪

Bill Hall

No ESR, no Tomi, no Zinny, that is a weak bench

5 internationals, plus a highly rated youngster (not 27)…

4 nil….

Death by 300,000 Passes

So I guess that 4 of the subs during the game will be Eddie, Nelson, Elneny and Jorginho, but who will be the fifth? No one, Cedric, or we will witness the unthincable event of academy player?

A Different George

So, I’m reading this after the game. Pretty funny comments throughout.

Death by 300,000 Passes

Heh, the whole evening was unthinkable, it seems.

Tankard Gooner

Weakest west ham lineup ever

A Gooner in Valencia

Hopefully we can get the game out of site and let a few of the younglings get some minutes towards the end

You were saying…

Tomaury Bischfeld

Leo v the cat kicker

Crash Fistfight

How is it that Heung-Min Son played yesterday after S. Korea went out at the semi-final stage of the Asia Cup, yet Tomi isn’t on the bench, having gone out one round earlier?

Tom 007

Son plays 80%+ of the 38 matches of EPL whereas Tomi plays 8%… So MA has to manage him cautiously I think….

Illness in the camp? That’s some bench, hopefully we get to see one or two in a good win. COYG!

Compare Mam City and even Liverpool with Arsenals bench. Nelson and Nketiah wouldn’t even make those teams. Man City’s bench is so strong grealish doesn’t even play. Crap

On Liverpool’s bench yesterday:

You’re saying Nelson and Nketiah “wouldn’t even make that team”, so which of those 4 are you saying would displace them?

Teryima Adi

Bench’s a bit light. COYG!!!!

He’s got no hair but we don’t care...

As Trossard tries to slip a ball through to Havertz, if it had got to him, at what point do you actually believe he’ll score?
Yeah I always feel positive him there too. Hope he cements his place as our invisible 9.

With that imperious display after the first half, and a practically empty stadium, allow a couple of the kids play!

Nope. Let’s smash these cunts for 8.

Oh how I enjoyed seeing the West Ham fans leaving in their thousands.

He’s got no hair but we don’t care...

When we’re delivering such a masterclass I just don’t get how some of you mighty Gooners don’t see how little Havertz gives our team.
Again this is NO DIG AT HIM AS A PERSON (hoping I made that clear) but it’s not just his almost zero goal threat, even his passes in midfield were going astray.
