Changes to the Arsenal Women Arsecast in 2024-25

Hi all! For a little while we have been looking to move the Arsenal Women Arsecast onto a more predictable and regular schedule and to have more shows. Happily, Pippa Monique and Alex Ibaceta are flying in their media careers now and we have been quietly looking for a good co-host so we can bring you more shows and on a more predictable schedule.

We have found that person! You may recall that Jamie Spangher, who is a London-based, Australian women’s football journalist and Chief Editor of the Halfway Line, featured on the most recent episode of the show. Jamie has agreed to be our co-host on a new show starting when the 2024-25 WSL season begins.

When Arsenal play a game at the weekend, Jamie and I will co-host a show looking at the game in-depth. The format will follow that of the Arsecast Extra, Jamie and I will discuss the game, the line-ups, the post-match press conferences etc, etc in the first half and in the second half, we will take some listener questions.

The podcast isn’t on hiatus over the summer, we will still produce episodes and we will still produce other episodes with other guests across the season as well, but the show with Jamie and I will be a regular, predictable feature which we hope (and think) you will enjoy. We wanted to add another voice to our coverage of Arsenal Women and really think Jamie fits the bill. You can follow her on Twitter @jamiespangher

New questio. What surfaces are our training ground and meadow park and could that be a factor in injuries?
