Arsenal launch new adidas away kit for 24/25 season

Arsenal’s away kit for the 2024/25 campaign is now available to buy online and in-store at Arsenal and adidas outlets. The shirt has been designed in partnership with Labrum, a London menswear brand that tells “the untold stories of West Africa to help bridge the gap between western and West African culture.”

The shirt uses the adidas ‘Tiro 24’ template and features a black base with a white graphic pattern under the arms and down the side.

The club cannon features in red while red and green is used for the adidas stripes and logo. Black shorts and socks complete the look.

This is the second black away shirt released in the last three years. The last one, featuring bronze as the accent colour, proved incredibly popular. We’d be surprised if this matches that one for sales, but who knows.

The blurb from adidas and Labrum reads:

“A bold fan jersey designed with Labrum London and made with recycled materials. An expression of pride in Arsenal’s diverse fanbase. Showing off Labrum London’s signature West African influences, this adidas jersey is part of a collaboration with the British fashion brand. Intricate graphics and details in the colors of the Pan-African flag combine for an eye-catching look.”

Alongside the shirt, which is available as a replica for £80 or authentic version for £110, there is an associated training range also designed by Labrum. Arsenal will launch their third shirt – a trippy turquoise and purple number – next month.

Nah.

Crash Fistfight

It could be amazing. For £80 I still wouldn’t buy it. Complete rip-off.

Ebo

We used to be the club with the nicest kits. What happened to those times…?

SizC

I see Palestine rather than West Africa. I’m just lost for words.

Ranbo

Another reason to like it!

Pookins

There has to be one I suppose. Awful shirt

Crash Fistfight

What about the Kenya flag? Or Libya?

Or it’s just 3 colours put together.

The G

Kenya is not in West Africa

Crash Fistfight

Yes, that’s why I referenced it. Same as with Libya, or did you think Libya was in West Africa?

Musa

Hahah!!! The Kenya Nation Team Jersey for sure. Am buying that Jersey right away. I’ll now have the advantage of my National team Kit as well as mu favorite club (the Gunners) all in one. Love it all the way from Nairobi, Kenya

Heavenly Chapecoense

Hope establishment doesn’t force Arsenal to get rid of it because of any random coincidental association. Have heard things like that in the last 10 months.

Roy M

The claimed difference in the collar between the authentic and replica is wrong. Just check Arsenal.com and see, they are the same.

GunnAlex

Would look classier if all the emblems and Emirates font were just a couple sizes smaller

karl g

Completely agree. The shirt looks good, but a bit too busy with so many logos in both green and red.

The long sleeve would be so much better without the 1970s style full-length stripes.

Group Captain Mandrake

I wish they would make the cannon smaller and move the adidas logo to the sleeve and unclutter the front a bit. And make the Emirates logo smaller while they are at it. It could look really nice but there are so many elements.

Aitcho

Agree, the new large adidas logo, on all their kits, looks ugly.

Travis_Bickle

This is the kit we’ll be wearing when we lift the PL trophy at St. Mary’s in May next year.

Teryima Adi

🙏🏾

Joker

The last lot look like a set of pyjamas.

Scott P

Still a better design than the actual kit imo. They definitely do look like training shirts though. At least they look like something… the away kit’s design just doesn’t feel cohesive.

UzesGooner

Love this !

Tomo

Hideous kit yet again!

UzesGooner

Wait til you see it worn, I think it’s ace.

Have you seen the new Chelsea kit…..fucking hilarious 😂

Emi Rates

Not seek it. Have they at least abandoned that disgusting nebulous badge? As someone who explored psychedelics in my youth that shit was giving me flashback.

Emi Rates

I’ve seen it now. Even worse than previous season. Flashbacks o’clock!

Shit kit for a shit club though.

Patrik

Would prefer the training kit as away kit

Maxin In The Shade

Why do the fan made kits always look 10x better than the official ones released?

Goo-nerd

Glad to see the club standing with Palestine #freepalestine

Kevin

Nice connection, although no one’s ever going to say that., because, well, offending sponsors. Kind of like the Arsenal Ukraine supporters group that was announced by club then quietly forgotten about and never mentioned again.

Savage

The club shouldn’t be taking any political positions at all. Football is our chance to enjoy something neutral together.

London

Like they didn’t went Russia invaded Ukraine. Don’t be so naive

Ebo

Agree, I personally stand with Palestine and I support individuals speaking out politically but I certainly don’t need or want Arsenal to do so, we need to have a few things that bring us together instead of everything dividing us… I do like them showing class on stuff like racial or LGBTQ inclusiveness because that’s again about bringing people together, but even there they stay out of actual political debates and rights battles and that’s probably a good thing.

Mootilated

I like it. They’re obviously turning 2nd/3rd away kits into fashion statements so they’re more ‘wearable’ for the average Joe. Looks awesome.

Bergytime

Looks cool as a third kit, would still love to have a yellow and blue away kit as well though (every season).

Death by 300,000 Passes

I love the white shaded pattern and how/where it is applied. The decision to use it also for the non-PL number at the back is unique and looks really classy.
That being said, the combination of green cannon and red logo destroys the balance and hurts my eyes.

Oddo

Very African vibe. Given our sponsors that makes a lot of sense. I like it. I’ll buy it.
We’ll win in it.
Still prefer the black away from two seasons ago. Wearing mine right now in fact.

Rick_Sanchez

That is my favorite kit ever made, period.

Gooner Ged

Sorry for being old fashion but wish Arsenal would stick to red and white for home and yellow and blue for away.

Chuck Felsea

THIS and nothing else.

Kevin

The size of that Adidas logo. FFS. When the manufacturer’s badge is bigger than the club’s, you’ve got to wonder who’s really in charge.

DinoFinn

Slaps!

gooner

I prefer the yellow and blue shorts and I understand some people not liking this one but I love it. I love the African touch too. We might not get the players doing a pre season tour around this place any time soon but at least we’ll do with that thought.
Plus am Visiting Rwanda too. Virunga see you in December

William Nilliam

A fitting tribute to Lynx Africa

Kelvs

Even though the f—witted Rwanda deportation scheme has been binned, I still wish they’d get rid of the sleeve sponsorship. It just feels wrong. As for the kit itself, don’t they need yellow in there as part of the African colour palette? Like others on here I can’t help thinking it’s more Palestinian. Not that they’d ever do that.

Zenithreptile

Anyone else perplexed by the template thing? Think it looks crap especially for the home kit.

Absolute Camel

Adidas slowly starting to lose me with their kits each season. Started off really well. Now they’re just a bit meh.

Glocken

Easily the worst shirt Adidas has produced since they took over from Puma.

In fact, it’s so bad you could imagine Puma actually making it.

In has no connection or historical link to Arsenal, bar the nationalities of a few players who have played for us.

The colour scheme is ghastly, as are the white sections.

The Ian Wright tribute shirt which came out is better than this.

A total own goal by the club and Adidas.

Horrendous.

Chuck Felsea

Mate, I am scared. I feel like you ‘ve entered my head, copied my exact thoughts and eloquently wrote them down here. 100% agreement. Now let’s get a little sarcastic: Of course this shirt has a historical link to Arsenal. The green and red reminds us of our strong Belarussian connection and past, represented by the one and only Alex Hleb, an unsung hero who not only played in our only CL final, but scored none less than 1 goal and gave 2 assists in the famous 7:0 thrashing of Slavia Prague, despite already being substituted after roughly 60 minutes.… Read more »

BillyKrystal

This would be a stunner without the white accents, they look so out of place. Haven’t bought a shirt for years but I like the black shorts. Might be full kit wanker time.

215Arse

Good god

Gunner1971

I like it. I might even buy it, and I don’t often buy kit. Last one was the black one also. Black is the new black?

Matthinc

I’m quite into it

nycgunner

Love at first sight for me. But $140 for the authentic shirt doesn’t feel right. Unless it comes with a Nico Williams transfer guarantee.

Old Bloke.

Looks ok but £80!! You can get a Fred Perry for less than that which won’t be out of date in a years time and is made of comfortable cotton not polyester 😣

Rob

yeah those black ones with the gold trim and emblem really stood the test of time

Blackpool Albert

This hideous thing looks like something I sneezed into. Nah. Just give me the traditional Gunner strip with WHITE SLEEVES that are confined to the sleeve and not running into the shoulder.

John

That training apparel is truly frightful.

Stonks

As an African myself, I’m tired of that woke and diversity shit. Arsenal is London, not Africa. If you want to make a jersey related to Africa, do a special edition. This kit is awful. I guess the shareholders want that DEI money

Parteynelli

what DEI money? Is there a DEI warchest hidden away somewhere?

arseblog

I’m tired of people using woke as a pejorative.

RobertoCarlos

Is it not just a nod to the Emirates? The colors we are told are African inspired but from what I see is a deal with the sponsors to add an extra 5mil to the transfer budget if you include our countries colors

BringBackSeaman

Looks like Lynx Africa

Rvp

Horrible

Lorenzo

In all honesty, I think this is really ugly. The colour scheme, grey patterns, it all just looks so tacky. Why not just tweak last season’s gold and black design? That was really classy. This just looks like a 4th-tier Sunday afternoon club’s jersey. I hope this kit doesn’t make too many appearances in the coming season.

Or maybe it might grow on me, like an acquired taste, but I highly doubt that. It’s ugly. Period.

Samuel Macharia matogi

New arsenal kits dominate Kenyan flag and African heritage good move thanks.

Aitcho

Not sure about the kit, it’s okay and I’ll probably get used to it as usual. But I’m probably not the target market. With a global African diaspora to target consisting of a younger population than most Western countries, I’m sure Adidas has worked out where to pitch itself best to maximise revenue. Old fellas in the UK become less important as a demographic. I remember when we used to talk of buying Japanese players to sell a few shirts over there. It’s easier just to make the shirt itself. I expect to see Chinese, Indian themed shirts in the… Read more »

Chuck Felsea

Really hoping for that China thing. Make a red (and white) home shirt, a yellow (and blue) away shirt and I am happy … they can even say it’s red and yellow because of China or whatever, I don’t care in that case. Jokes aside, for me this is an Adidas shirt, not an Arsenal shirt. I do understand the appeal of making an Adidas shirt that appeals to a certain regional demographic, that’s great, but this is Arsenal and we have club colors. When I wear the red with white sleeves, then everybody who sees me from 50 m… Read more »

David Hillier's luggage

I like the graphic and I like the colour palette, but I don’t like the way it’s been applied to Adidas’ template. Something a bit like how Spain & Scotland’s away kit have incorporated a graphic into the underarms and back ‘U’ of the template would have really made the graphic pop.

allezkev

I don’t really like it and £80 is extortionate but when the season starts and the team wear it and win in it nobody will care anymore.

Olave

🇵🇸

GoonerMonkey

Not a fan of this season’s shirts. This or the Tesco sleve home shirt are not for me – and that’s fine. We could be wearing binbags for all I care. I just want us to go one better than the last couple of amazing seasons.

Geefive

We have a shite canned beer in Canada called Old Style Pilsner 6.1 that this jersey reminds me of. I feel the same about both…..

allezkev

Sounds like the lager on sale in the Emirates.

Arsepedant

The black would be okay with just the green accents, or just the red accents, but with both it looks like something a kid in third form put together to show how many different colours he could add to one drawing. Everything clashes. It’s a hard no for me.

Mizog

Arsenal kits are either brilliant or shit, this one is shit
