In this edition of the Arsenal Women Arsecast, Tim and Jamie go back over the UWCL qualifying victories over Rangers and Rosenborg last week, the performances of Mariona Caldentey, as well as Laia Codina and Kyra Cooney-Cross and whether it will be difficult to dislodge them from the team, Tim and Jamie also look ahead to the next qualifying round against Hacken. Mariona don’t pick up the chant was for her because her name is not correct pronounced, we need to pronounce the last Y in Caldentey, same as we pronounce the Y in Thomas Partey.

Agree about KCC against deep blocks – not just the big diagonals, but also the ball carrying, the dribbling drives towards goal. Still too much of the “close but no cigar” finishing, but we have been approaching the chance creation in a more creative way. 100% we need a killer striker to provide competition and just somehow get us a goal when we are stale and *not* making lots of chances.
