I must say it helps to know that we can bring Walcott on later if things aren’t happening.
Giroud is better than Bendtner in most aspects of the game, except clinical finishing.
I hate to admit but he is a better finisher than Giroud.

Why does Wenger only replace Giroud with Bendtner? Why does he always feel the need to have a central striker? The guy sucks, plain and simple. Why not start Walcott up the middle? Or better yet, throw five creative midfielders out there? Spain did just win a Euro without a main striker and we have best midfield in the BPL.
Maybe I am wrong, but I would not be surprised if throw up a stinker tonight.

Arsene Wenger did just say he can’t rest everybody at the same time. He’s rotated the midfield and left back, been forced to rotate right back, and is giving Giroud a day off. I think that’s quite enough changes for one day.

No complains with the team as such, except I woul have loved to see Vermaelen and Walcott start instead of Kos and Ozil though … but after AW’s comments about CB position being not that physically taxing I was not expecting it. Also maybe AW thought with Walcott and Jenks on right might be a little light ..
Perhaps Theo isn’t fully match fit/sharp yet.
Playing Giroud would in itself have been a big risk. We should have enough on the pitch to score, though ironically we may miss Giroud defending set pieces (can’t honestly remember how well Bendtner does that).

Since Wenger’s been talking about rotation, I weren’t surprised to see Bender (See what I did there?) on the starting XI. Maybe even if he scores, he’ll get three milliseconds of respect from supporters too, until they remember who he actually is, and we’re back at the same old.
