You wait ages for your first senior goal, then two come along at … er … reasonable intervals between football matches.
Chuba Akpom got his second Hull City goal tonight in the Capital One Cup. Akpom opened the scoring in extra-time after the Tigers had drawn 0-0 with Accrington Stanley, but the teams traded goals to bring the game to a penalty shoot out which Steve Bruce’s men won 4-3 on penalties.
Anyway, here’s Akpom’s goal. And, with all due credit to @domoshea, Hull will be hoping for another ‘Choob Strike’ when they meet Wolves at the weekend.

Big hopes for Chuba, if he gets regular games at Hull it’ll be massive for him.

Great start for him, will definitely be a starter now he if keeps getting them regularly. I am of opinion that he can be among the top 3 scorers in Championship realistically this season.
