Arsenal will face Sheffield Wednesday in the 4th round of the Capital One Cup after Mathieu Flamini’s brace secured a 2-1 victory over Sp*rs at White Hart Lane.
The Gunners will travel to Hillsborough on either 27th or 28th October to face the side we beat in the final back in 1993; the last time we won the competition.
Perhaps we can take Steve Morrow as a mascot?
Sheffield Wednesday? Isn’t that a bank holiday?
Fair draw
Potential ‘banana skin’! Treat with all amount of seriousness.
Make sure Steve Morriw doesn’t slip on it and break his arm agsin
Ha ha, tried to rewatch the footage again, found a “Phoenix from the Flames” featuring the man himself instead. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHbSCF1eu0o
Good times.
Flamini will be counting down the days…
Opportunity to play a few young lads.
And a 31-year old, I hope.
Fuck. I knew we’d get a harder draw in the next round.
Well done man, brilliant comment. You said what we were all thinking.
Bring on the Jeff! (To partner our LANS center forward Mathin van Flamsie, obviously). Fancy a proper cup run here, lads.
Last I heard he was out injured. Hope he makes the come back in time.
I hope that van something is in no way related to some van cunt person I know from a while a go. He is now getting benched in the Turkish league! Oh how heroes have fallen!
Wish we played Spurs every week!
Just wish it could’ve been at Emirates.
YES! Finally get a game close enough to York for me to actually go watch
If Morrow’s going to be mascot, we better make sure Tony Adams is no-where near the ground.
We should take Andy Linighan as insurance.
Flamini’s next game!
Great draw for me! Half an hour away and my cousin is a Wednesday fan, can’t wait.
My second team…
COME ON ARSENAL
Just so happened that I was watching the game (and 4th round draw) with my Sheffield Wednesday supporting mate. Thanks Matt Le Tissier! Roadtrip to Hillsborough!
We’ll be playing my first ever favorite English Football team! Where I grew up in SoCal, in the ’70’s, we got the league standings for English Football and I knew nothing of any of the teams but just liked the name Sheffield Wednesday…so, there you go 🙂
COYG! Beat them Owls!
