For a long time it looked as if Mesut Ozil was going to break Thierry Henry’s long standing record of 20 assists, but sadly our finishing let him down.

Great skills! But he has to do more. Assisting is great but, we need him to score more. He has to and I think he can.
Other than not winning the Premier League, I’m most upset with Mesut not crushing the PL assists record. I had thought he’d get at least 24-26.
Not that he cares about a record, necessarily, but I’m sure he’d be all in for the wins that those extra (imaginary goals in my mind) 5-7 goals would have given us.
We’ve all talked about this before. I’ll leave the horse carcass to the buzzards.
