Cohen Bramall on his U23s debut

The young man who made the headlines last week after joining the club from non-league Hednesford Town, Cohen Bramall, had his first run out in an Arsenal shirt last night, and said that the pace of the game was far greater than the level he’s used to playing at.

We sometimes wonder why young players find it hard to make the step-up from reserve to first team football, but it seems the difference between the 7th tier of the English game and the underage league is just as steep.

“It was so fast!,” he told Arsenal Player. “It was hard to get used to. I just need to do well now, keep training and keep getting better and better. Hopefully, I can get to where I need to be in the future.

“It’ll be a big challenge, because from Hednesford in the league I played in, it was pretty slow and I had a lot more time on the ball than I did here.

“It was fast and I need to be better and think quicker on the ball. I think in the next game that I play, I’ll be a lot more confident.

“It was amazing. I’m just happy that in my first game for Arsenal that we got the three points really.”

He’ll be glad to get his one under his belt, and start his development apace.

He can run 100m in 10.9 seconds and he thought it was fast! The U23s must be good.

Bryanclayden

I read an article this morning that broke his game in to 15 minute sections, sounds like he was very good going forward, a little nervous defensively but a solid debut.

Link please sir?

Lord Bendnter

This is turning out to be a very quiet transfer window. I mean for all teams in general. Even on the rumors front, there isn’t that much going on.

Sambo

Not in China lol. *Bows and moves away kneeling to the Lord*

Xxxrob

Not shocked all that Bendtner made his way to China.
