It’s Arsenal v Atletico Madrid tonight, the first leg of the Europa League semi-final takes place at the Emirates.

Bench not too convincing, I see a lot of defensive players, let’s just hope they can put in a performance today. Itll be tough to break them down but we just have to be patient.

Apart from choice of keeper. Cech is not perfect but is farc better than Ospina.

Why Ospina? Why Xhaka?
I will miss Wenger BUT I will be delighted when the new manager, even if he has half an eye, stops continuously picking Xhaka, the most average of average players.
I agree about Ospina but Xhaka has been excellent in recent matches. Who else is better than him?

Not in the same class cech has a presence and a reach and positional sense which error prone Ospina doesn’t have

Would’ve been nice to call Elneny from the bench for Wilshere at 60 mins (or vice versa even). But this team can do it. Maitland-Niles for some tired legs later on will have to do.
And I’m not ignoring Iwobi, he’ll be a sub for one of the front three later on. And Kolasinac can be one heck of a weapon off the bench if used well.
