Arsenal have confirmed that 11 fixtures have been rescheduled as a result of our participation in the Europa League and the TV broadcast selections by Sky Sports and BT Sport.
Our opening game of the season against Newcastle had already been pushed back to 2pm on Sunday 12th August so it could feature as part of Sky’s Super Sunday coverage.
As has often been the case in the last couple of season, we’re going to play a lot of football on Sundays.

The ‘standard’ TV selections have now been made up to and including September 30, 2019.
Can we reschedule them for the season after?
Some of our domestic fixtures are now ‘moved to the Europa League’.
That’s a novel development.
Away to Utd now Monday 8pm. FFS.
We will be on TV playing against the big teams.
As always?
I think the point is that we used to be one of those big teams that people got to watch their teams play against on telly. Not any more…
If this is just the TV games up to 30 September, then all of our first 7 league games are on TV. Says more about our horrible fixture list than our status as a ‘big team’!
Big teams like Burnley. Watford and Villa? Plus early EL games v Uzbekistan Rovers, Siberian City and a compulsory visit to Baku.
Lets reschedule all Europa matches and focus on solely getting only into top 4 clearly we not gonna win Europa league
Who cares? It looks like we’re heading for a car-crash season. I think I’ll find a hobby this season and forgot about watching football.
But will you forget about posting here?
Golf ?
Only one season? Can it be more?
Regardless of the strength of the sides both Utd or ourselves will field in the Europa League (we put decent line ups out last season), moving our away game with them to a Monday night is utter madness. Imagine if we/or Utd draw a side in Russia, Ukraine or Azerbaijan and play away that week? Players back at 2-3am Monday then jet off on the Weds for 5pm KO on the Thurs. Not a lot of recovery time. Worse still for the fans, probs no trains back that evening so early train back to home to London (for both Arsenal… Read more »
It’s the diehard United fans I feel sorry for. It’s hard enough getting trains to Truro at the best of times.
Has there been anything from the club as to why none of the league games are listed on the tickets page of the website? Not sure how you’re supposed to purchase them at the minute and they should already be available for silver members (usually 2 months before, isn’t it?).
The early season home games don’t go on sale until later in July. The two month purchasing window for silver members won’t kick in till the late September games although there will be a short gap between silver and red purchasing dates.
Thanks old bloke. Only just got silver so have only purchased a month before using the red membership. I guess we do start away from home as well, so it’s still a while off.
