Arsenal’s away game with Manchester City will have to be rearranged after Pep Guardiola’s side reached the final of the Carabao Cup.
The match was scheduled to take place on Sunday, 1 March but will now take place later in the season. It’s yet to be confirmed when exactly.
The situation could well play out to our advantage. The trip to the Etihad looked like a daunting fixture in the midst of a set of very winnable games.
Yeah, yeah…I know that we’ve been rubbish and we basically draw every game, but you get what I mean.

More importantly did I hear an under armour advert on the last pod cast….?
It’s going to be an interesting fixture. Mikel vs Pep
The end of last season has taught me that there is no such thing as “a run of winnable games”
That’s for the men’s team. The women’s team is a completely different situation!
Advantage for our FA Cup fixture vs Pompey as we’ll have more time to prepare. But as Tommy Gunner says, such thing as “winnable games” for Arsenal is a long gone phenomenon (looking forward to Arteta and his group changing all that again soon).
Good. Now we have more time to perfect the Arteta-ball and hopefully get our new signings up to speed.

Oh well. <div class=”tenor-gif-embed” data-postid=”11180784″ data-share-method=”host” data-width=”100%” data-aspect-ratio=”1.7659574468085104″><a href=”https://tenor.com/view/everythings-coming-up-milhouse-lucky-simpsons-gif-11180784″>Everythings Coming Up Milhouse Lucky GIF</a> from <a href=”https://tenor.com/search/everythingscomingupmilhouse-gifs”>Everythingscomingupmilhouse GIFs</a></div><script type=”text/javascript” async src=”https://tenor.com/embed.js”></script>
Double nope. A delete comment would be really useful right about now…
Hopefully Man City beat Villa in that League Cup final as it would allocate 6th place in the league to Europa League qualification.
What’s the betting that bizarrely we play the cup game on thursday, instead of tues !!
After the Burnley game…..3 home matches in the Premier League against not so very good teams….could we…?
Three draws.
I think they should just give us 3 points and let us miss the game
