Arsenal’s adidas away kit for the 2023/24 season features a radical black and fluorescent green-yellow design, coupled with blue club and sponsor logos.
Leaked images dropped last night by kit specialists Footy Headlines, news aggregator @AFCStuff and Twitter user @_jakesaggs all suggest the Gunners will be dressed like radioactive zebras when they play on the road next season.
The thick black lines that curve around the body of the shirt wouldn’t look out of place on an Ordnance Survey map and could be related to some accompanying spiel that states:
“Gooners travel far & wide to watch the Arsenal play at home & abroad. be it from Islington to overseas or from overseas to the Emirates, no two experiences are the same.”
The fluorescent design is continued on the socks while the shorts will be black.

Earlier in the week, we also got a first glimpse at the final design for the new home shirt and revealed that the third shirt will feature a dark green and blue colour combination.

Arsenal are expected to wear the new home shirt for the final game of the season against Wolves while the other two will go on sale in the summer.
It’s quite possible one of the away / third shirts will get its official launch in the US when the Gunners head across the Atlantic in the summer.
I’m still hoping this is some elaborate April Fool’s prank. This kit is hideous.

OK Adidas, here’s the brief: 1st kit: red shirts, white sleeves, white shorts, red or white socks. 2nd kit: yellow shirts, blue shorts, yellow socks. Fuck about with that to your heart’s content – BUT REPRESENT WHO WE ARE! It’s not a complex request.

This kit has given me epilepsy. Reminds me of the episode of OF&H when Rodney & Grandad paint Mr. Chins kitchen, luminous yellow. The old mobile game “snake” pattern all over it really gives it the naff, laughing stock finish that the Spurs fan designer must have been reaching for.
