Arsenal have revealed the new home strip for the 2023/24 season.
It is the fifth home design unveiled by adidas since they took over from Puma in 2019 and the first to incorporate a monochrome gold crest.
Gold is also used for the new adidas logo, the brand’s famous three stripes, the Visit Rwanda logo on the left sleeve and an AFC lightning motif on the neck. The logo for our main sponsor Emirates remains white, as is the crew neck collar.
A ‘zap’ lightning pattern is used on the ‘Better Scarlet’ red body in a tribute to the Nike shirts worn from 1994-96.
On the player issue ‘authentic’ shirt, there’s also a nod to the achievement of Arsene Wenger’s Invincibles on the 20th anniversary of their unmatched title success; a chronological match-by-match breakdown of their wins and draws is pressed onto the white piping along the side of the shirt.

The blurb from adidas reads: “They say lightning never strikes twice. And 20 years on, the Gunners remain the only club to finish an English top-flight soccer season undefeated. This adidas Arsenal jersey celebrates a unique anniversary with lightning bolts and gold details. Created for supporters, it’ll keep you comfortable with moisture-wicking AEROREADY. A woven badge completes the eye-catching look.”
Arsenal have confirmed that Arsenal Women will wear the shirt for the first time on Saturday before Mikel Arteta’s players step out in the new garb on Sunday against Wolves.
You can buy it now via the club shop and adidas for an eye-watering £80 or £110 for the player issue version.
I like it, fresh look. Rice and Caicedo gonna look mint rocking our new homekit
Am I being selfish wanting both Rice and caicedo not one or the other. Caicedo gives me kante Leicester era vibes but might be a bit young to move our needle in year one. Rice on his own would move the needle but if he’s a direct replacement for xhaka are we short again the second partey get injured.
I’d nearly rather be short in defence than midfield if you had caicedo and rice chopping legs in midfield

Provided we make realistic bids for those guys and not laughable bids – that will only open the doors for other clubs to gazump us yet again.
Too expensive and not up to their usual standards
£80??!
So tired of being a cash cow.
Adidas have successfully recreated the 2014 Puma kit. Which was utter shite.
Ha! Literally my first thought also.
If it’s celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Invincibles, why is the design “inspired” by a kit from 10 years before that?
It seems like the Adidas shirt designers have about as much creative originality as Hollywood studios these days. It’s basically “remember x? Let us rehash that, but not as good.”.
Nice kit, just a real shame that the three adidas stripes are broken on the sleeve just to accommodate the fucking sponsors. The gap looks ridiculous.
Very nice! Love the design, the color is right, the badge is one step closer to having a simple cannon (which is the proper arsenal badge btw) and the lightning is also a nice nod to the 90s. Only ugly thing about it is the ridiculous sponsor, as always.
The shirt sleeve sponsor has ruined what would have been a great design – the three adidas stripes as the good Lord intended them to be; running down the sleeve unbroken.
Speaking of adidas, the club should push for a return of the trefoil logo.
Just out of interest, why is a simple cannon the proper Arsenal badge?
Thanks, I hate it.
It’s….ok. Think I’ll wait to see what the away and third shirts look like before I decide. Sold out already anyway. At least there’s the option for CL patch and non PL font.
Uninspired but I don’t hate it
The price gouging will do wonders for the “alternative” sellers who will offer an identical product for well under half the price. I’m in no way condoning using these sellers but I wouldn’t blame anyone for doing so. Imagine having two or three kids who want all the (heavily marketed) kits? Raising prices when the markup is already several hundred percentage is just taking the piss.
Lightning does not strike twice
2002-03 – Arsenal were top for most of season before losing out
2003-04 – Arsenal won the league undefeated
2022-23 – Arsenal were top for most of season before losing out
2023-24 – ?
I like your thinking here…..
😉 🍺 👍
Lightning not striking twice 🙁
The 0304 team were driven by the disappointment of 0203. Would be nice to see something similar next season but the team 20 years ago underachieved whereas this current bunch defied all all pre season expectations so it’s not quite the same. We live in hope however!
Pricing is going too far now. Three new kits every year which are heavily marketed could put undue pressure on households containing Arsenal supporting children. Kick in the teeth for the collectors out there as well.
The socks are shite!
Right!
Why the hell have we got lightening on anything? Some tenuous line about lightening striking twice? Bollocks.
Is the Stans idea to rename us the Arsenal Thunderbolts, to appeal to the septics?
Was just on the site to order one, but I don’t like it that much.
I’ll keep my 110 and hope that the other new releases are nicer
I like the socks.
Can we keep this season’s away kit forever…..?
Best ever kit, that is
Love the socks
Can we please have a white or plain yellow jersey for our away matches in champion league I want🙏
I do not dig the lightening bolt motif of these adidas uniforms.
