Wenger provides further team updates, will assess Cech

Arsene Wenger has given further updates on the injury situation ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League clash with Watford.

Following yesterday’s updates on Wilshere, Rosicky and Cazorla, he revealed there are no further problems with the players who are returning from international duty.

“All the players who were away have come back in good shape,” he said. “Petr Cech will join training today, but I haven’t decided if he’ll be in the squad tomorrow.

“The other good news is Wilshere and Rosicky are back in full training. Cazorla has started to run but he’s still a few weeks away, I think. You have to always be a bit cautious because you never know how people will respond to training.

“Whether he’ll be fit properly before the end of the season, I don’t know.”

Pressed on when Wilshere might be back, he said, “To be back fully competitive will take a few weeks. Once he’s completely fit he’ll be available for Arsenal and the national team.”

And with just eight games left to play, Wenger was clear about what was necessary for the remainder of the season.

“What is important is that we play our eight games will full commitment and passion and see what happens.”

Ah how I’ve missed Jacks graceful gliding across the pitch, and the quick one two’s around the box. He links up with Ozil so well, the games they’ve played together he’s actually been one of the few who actually picks out Ozil’s runs. I hope he continues his classy dribbling but avoids his old mistake of dangling a leg in a big tackle.

Wilshere?Graceful? Linking well with Özil?
Oh, i forgot it’s April fool’s day! LOL

Yeah you’re right, he’s absolutely rubbish when he’s fit…… but you are wrong.

Thierry Bergkamp

I doubt he’ll make it to the end of the season

Bet you’re fun at parties.

Thierry Bergkamp

Bet you get excited everytime Wenger says “he’s like a new signing”.

Would be great to see Jack coming back. Great player.

I hope Wilshire gets back in the starting lineup ASAP. I hope he changes his game from long dribbles to pass and move. Clearly he spends to much time on the ball and results in getting tackled strongly and getting injured. Then we don’t hear from him for months on end.

Ruddy

great now my comments are not being published

Dazzler

Neither are mine.
