With that kind of performance, he should be playing week in week out

A copy of this video should be sent to “Mr Arsenal”, John Cross. According to him Xhaka was a “passenger for long stretches of the game yesterday ” and merited a 5 rating.

I particularly enjoyed them slating him on MOTD2 and wondering what a difference Jack Wilshere could have made, and what he must have been thinking up in the stands having ostensibly been sent on loan because of him. Presumably something along the lines of “I’ll never get back in this team” or reminding himself to buy some cigarettes on the way home.

The same video maker has a compilation of Wilshere’s skills shown at Bournemouth so far.

Some seriously delicious through balls there, and always looking to get in a tangle to win possession back. Would like to see him in a sterner test with the coq patrolling with him. His ability to twist out of trouble was impressive too.

I promise y’all, with a run of games this guy will be ace! He did have some dodgy moments(like the rest of the them) when we were under pressure in the first half but apart from that i think he looked pretty solid.

Good performance, I think he need some a run of games with the same partner. Would like to see him and Rambo given a shot together. That would be an energetic midfield for sure. Or him and Caz. The thing about coq is he is brilliant when playing with caz as they complement each other’s weaknesses, when he doesn’t with play with, coq is not as affective as the other play let isn’t as creative as Santi. As for the slating MOTD gave him, do they watch the games? And whether we miss jack? He hasn’t played in two years so how can we miss him, and i would remind them that it was jacks decision to move.

It seems like defenders switch off a bit when xhaka has the ball in deep midfield. They’ll learn soon enough.

I really like what I’ve seen of Granit

Let’s hope he gets a good run of games in
