Video: Alexis Sanchez – ALL 93 goals & assists For Arsenal

It’s been a while since we’ve had any Arsenal action, so why not enjoy this compilation of goals and assists from Alexis Sanchez by @Arsenal_Editor.

Hopefully this a tally he can add to on Saturday when we face Liverpool at Anfield.

Top guy. With one or two more with the same drive and desire to win we would be up the top of the league (last season too probably).

Let’s hope he signs the new contract and stays fit.

Thierry Bergkamp

A goodbye tribute?

Faisal Narrage

Goodbye my Sanchez,
Goodbye my friend,
You have been the one…
You have been the one….for….
us.

GOODBYE MY SANCHEZ

Lord Nicki B

Brilliant player? Yes.

Nomad throughout his career? Yes.

Will I miss his skills on the pitch when he leaves? Yes.

Will I miss his selfish attitude which to a fan looks like him saying he’s bigger than the club? Hell No.

You’ve been great for us Alexis, but I wish you felt the same way about the Cannon on your chest as you do the Chilean crest.

Faisal Narrage

Talk about a pre-emptive strike. Doing whatever it takes to soften the blow of if (when?) he leaves? Also, a bit ridiculous to expect him to feel the same for Arsenal in the same way he feels for his freaking hoe country; his birthland, where he grew up, where poverty shaped him to be what he is, where he is universally adored and an icon to his nation (sure we love him here, but let’s not compare it to how Chileans treat him). Oh, and he also won 2 COPA Americas back to back with him. That builds memories. Right… Read more »

plus he mentioned that growing up he never watched any football, so i don’t see any reason for him to pledge allegiance to any club. he’s like a footballing Krombopulos Michael, he just loves playing football

Crash Fistfight

I don’t get this. Lord Nicki B literally states that he/she will miss Alexis as a player when he inevitably leaves. You can want a player on the team, whilst not necessarily liking them as a personality.

The inverse can also be true. For example, most people enjoyed Emanuel Eboue as a personality, whilst not being particularly bothered if he left the club.

Insider9

93 goals and assists in 2.5 seasons! I say that’s an incredible record. He is an incredible player. If Wenger decides to go I wouldn’t mind Alexis as player/manager.

abc

What are you on?

chippy's chip

One of wengers best signings no question. Give him battersea dogs home and whatever else he wants to stay please stan.

Mootilated

With him or without him we still have no Premier League title. That should soften the blow should he really decide to leave 🙂

spinner

Personally, I would give him the 250k a week he’s reportedly asking for.
As for Ozil, I would sell to China (or wherever) and use the money to get a superstar in.

wizardry

You know for a player of his calibre, he has the passing accuracy stats of Gervinho. I guess numbers don’t really tell the whole story in football. In fact they are quite misleading.

Theoptimist

ah wel if it’s safe passing stats you want we’ll just get Denilson back.

I think his stats might look average because he’s actually trying to create something unexpected rather than slot in to the safe and sideways play we adopt too often.

arsenal74

So did Arshavin (ie. trying too hard for that exceptional unexpected pass) and he got blasted for it. And frankly speaking Alexis is nowhere near Arshavin in terms of game vision, he’s actually quite poor at it. But because he’s hardworking while AA was lazy he gets more credit.

Crash Fistfight

Erm, that’s exactly the point wizardry was making. Do people not read past the first sentence of a post?

Paul

He’s earned his salary but does he merit the increase he desires? Over to you Arsene…

Paul

Off topic but what about those Leicester players? Get the manager sacked because he obviously had a go at them and then start trying when he’s gone! Absolute disgrace imo.

chippy's chip

Its player power and happens often. I reckon ours have been trying for years but the oard love him and thats all that matters unfortunately. By the time this is moderated ther will be a few new articles and it wont get seen so Chippys chipped.

chippy's chip

Board ffs

Paul

But…

Kwame Ampadu Down

You’re right Lord Nicki B. It’s better to have a squad of nice boys. Who would want to go back to the days when we had a team of whingers like Lehmann, Lauren, Campbell, Toure, Cole, Ljungberg, Vieira, Bwrgkamp & Henry. Those were nightmare times.

CLEGooner

Goodbye sweet alexis alexis.

We hardly knew ye.

Chris

What do we think guys? If it’s just a case of showing him the money – I would be inclined to do so. He offers A LOT to the team and I can think of Real Madrid, Bayern Athletico and maybe Juventus where he would be in a shot of winning the CL if that’s what he wants. No one is guaranteed a league trophy anymore with the exception perhaps being Bayern (in the big leagues) so you have to wonder where he’d go where he’d get more than at Arsenal. Perhaps if Greizmann leaves they’ll come knocking for him…difficult… Read more »

Chris

On a side note: If Ozil really does want to leave, what would be your thoughts on a Real return and us receiving Isco?

Hoosier Gunner

I’d say good for him. He will go back to a fan base that largely didn’t want him to be sold and he will leave a fan base that largely never appreciated him.

Conchetumadre

Blah blah blah.
Alexis will surprise everyone and will sign with Arsenal pretty soon.
He’s comfortable here, gets a lot of love and it’s a regular starter which is what he wants.
