Young striker Donyell Malen has joined PSV on a permanent deal, the club have announced this afternoon.
The 18 year old joined Arsenal from Ajax in 2015, and was extremely well regarded at youth level. He was part of the tour of Australia and China in pre-season, and featured regularly for the U23s.
He has signed a 3 year deal with the Eredivisie outfit, and will join their Young PSV team from which he’ll hope to make the breakthrough to the first team.

Let’s be honest, he was never going to make it at Arsenal. Can’t say I was ever that impressed when I saw him play. Let’s relax on this one, no need to get mad. Wish him all the best.
Piss off. He was utterly brilliant in his first season. Dipped in the second when moved out of position (surprise surprise). Stated brightly this season and one of the few invited to the tour.

I don’t understand the name calling or anger. Are you related to Malen? We played teams in Austrailia and the kid was trash. Zelalem, Akpom and countless others have torn it up on the tours and can’t even come close to the Arsenal first team. And you expect this kid, who couldn’t even play well against those teams to do what?

You can’t keep every young player happy? He isn’t from England why would he want to stay? he is soo not a priority compared to couple of other youngsters in similar positions. Let alone close to the Sr team.

The best talents in the youth team are in the youth team because they’re not good enough to jump straight into the first team. The top talents don’t play for the youth teams for very long. Fabregas, Messi, Wilshere, Rooney, Rashford, etc.

From the stuff i have seen on youtube of him, he actually looks like a very good player. Good technique, quick and strong. Dont reall know why we would sell a youth prospect, not really that expensive to keep, and not that much money to be made.
