Pictures: Arsenal train ahead of Crystal Palace clash

Arsenal face Crystal Palace tomorrow in the Premier League, in real need of three points and a win to boost the confidence.

Here are some of the pictures from today’s training session, and there’s one face in particular people might not have expected to see with everything that’s going on and reports he’d been banished to practice with the kids.

Wenger said earlier in the week that Sanchez would play tomorrow if he hadn’t left by then. Does anyone believe this?

Bai Blagoi

I do. I expect to see him tomorrow, even if just as a sub.

We must understand that this are controlled pictures so they say nothing about the real atmosphere.

Just look at wenger’s face.. Pure distress
Sanchez on the other hand, looks like a guy tasting 400k / week

Happy to see Ozil in training. Let’s thrash Palace tomorrow.

What’s Debuchy doing there?!

Haven’t you heard? Bellerin’s going to Yoovaay. Debuchy’s our LANS wingback.

-Bench depth probably. He is still a member of the first team, after all.

So Debuchy is staying?

Bam Ber Lam

Is Bellerin auditioning for Strictly Come Dancing in the photo?

No he’s auditioning for kylo ren stunt (extraordinaire) double

Flu Wednesday, full training Friday! If I have to have the flu in the future, I hope it’s the AMN variety…but to be fair, Arsene has repeatedly said that his ability to recover quickly is one of his strongest qualities.

I don’t know how we can fit Auba in without dropping Lacazette they are both finishers. If we play both that means dropping either Ozil or miki omg what is going on.

SB Still

I think Ozil behind Auba and Lacazett with a strong DM + pair of CB will give us a strong spine.

With those two strikers Ozil will finally have a formidable front line to apply the finishing touches.

4-2-2-2 maybe?
Laca and Auba upfront, with Ozil and Mkhi behind, but we should definitely sort CM/CDM position.

I like the idea of a front diamond, with Laca as a false 9, Auba a left-channel striker, Mkhi as right winger. But yeah, it’d likely function much like a 2-2-2 in field position. Lot of work for the fullbacks covering all the width, and heavy responsibility on the back 2 mids to keep it locked down.

Did Niles skin both Laca and Jack?

He is looking a real prospect and he is eager to show his attacking side to good effect.

Yes, with a smile on his face…

Man Manny

How will I ever bring myself to believe anything in the papers again?
Glad to see Ozil in training; we are guaranteed three or more scoring opportunities every time he plays.
I think we’ll win tomorrow.

It’s hard to hate Alexis, he just loves playing football even if its only training for a team he is about to leave. His agent is the only real winner here how long can he play to mourinho’s tactics with a smile on his face?

that’s the point – i feel he’ll be unhappy there similiar to Rooney !

He also seems to be clocking Debuchy a new one which is fine by me.

Looks like some new signings in there! Kolasinac and Ramsey back from injury!

I swear if alexis plays, gets injured and becomes stuck here because of that I’ll scream!

Alexis could be unhappy under Mouhnino and end up similiar to Rooney !

Upper 400k / week ought to calm that a bit. I hope it goes miserably all around for Man U, as I always do.

Godfrey Twatsloch

Happy or not is immaterial to me. All I care about is that he goes.
