I’ve been critical of Arsène in recent years but for once I really back his thinking in terms of transfers during this window. Actually, I believe we could go bolder and with a whole day left he still have some time to close a few last deals. First, I think we should sell Ozil to City. He’s a world cup winner, has been really good this year and entirely deserve to get that championship medal. That’ll also bring some money to Kroenke (he seems to like it). All the optimism of Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang being the first stage of a rebuild at Arsenal has been sucked out of me by the news of Giroud packing his towel and handing in his locker key, in preparation for the cab ride to Chelsea, followed by the abomination of a performance last night. All the talk of learning lessons drawn from Liverpool’s loss at Swansea was just talk. Again. And I still can’t log on to the Arses!!!!
