The agent of Hector Bellerin says that despite stories linking the Spaniard with a move away from Arsenal this summer, he hasn’t been contacted by other clubs at this moment in time.
Last week it was reported that the club would be willing to allow the 22 year old to leave if a fee of around £50m were on offer, with Juventus said to be interested among others.
However, Albert Botines insists there’s nothing stirring at this moment in time and that a move away during the transfer would be ‘difficult’.
“There’s no contact for Bellerin, no-one has sought me out,” he said.
“He’s happy, he’s recently renewed and he’s playing consistently. It’s true that every player always wants to grow, but right now it’s difficult.
“If the Azzurri were interested in some of my clients I would listen, because – just like Juventus – Napoli are not only a great team in Italy but also now in Europe.”
Of course agents talking to clubs about their clients is something that goes on all the time, but we here at Arseblog News hope that Arsenal will give the same message to any potential buyers this summer as they did to Man City when they pushed hard for Bellerin’s signature in the past.
Two words, second one ‘off’.
No way can we afford to let Hector go. If anything, we need to get/promote a second right-back as back-up for him. Maybe Maintland-Niles, instead of left-back?
I actually think AMN will be better than Bellerin as a RB or RWB. I’m really not worried about Bellerin leaving. He hasn’t grown as much as I’d expect
To grow as much as he should have, he needs a new manager and coaches, preferably at Arsenal
It always worries me a little when agents come out and say; ‘Oh no, don’t worry, nobody has put in a bid for MY – CLIENT – HECTOR – BELLERIN….. Thats right, not ONE single bid – NOTHING HAS COME IN.’ Its pretty much just a way for them to covertly shop their clients name around in the press without actually doing it.. if that makes sense. I hope Hector does stay, I think it would be absolutely ludicrous to sell him. He genuinely will turn into one of the best right backs in world football in the not too… Read more »
bellerin cant defend anyway
maitland – niles do me a favour
Is it “dance” off? Because that would totally spice up this interlull
Bake off. I’ve heard le prof makes a devine carrot cake
But wouldn’t clubs contacting a player directly at this point be a problem (for them)?
Saw a completely different Bellerin against Milan at Home. Dribbled inside into midfield comfortably when he was pressed and had no options to pass. Sad thing about the performance is it came after AMN’s recent displays at RB. Why did Hector not do that week in week out? We can’t have passengers anymore. Ideally i’d like to keep him but, i would sell him if that means we get an experienced CM like Modric. We should be targeting players like Modric, Pogba, Griezmann, Lewandowski. I would happily sell Hector for 50 million if it helps fund one of these players.… Read more »
So even though we bought 2 50m strikers and are defensively frail. You’d sell one of our top defenders to fund more strikers? Ffs this isn’t fifa
The invincibles had Henry, Bergkamp, Kanu, Wiltord, Reyes, Aliadere, Pires and Ljungberg. Why should we NOT get another quality striker? If we get say someone like Lewandowski then we can shift Aubameyang to LW. Infact we’d be much more dangerous because the opposition fullbacks can’t push forward let alone the CB’s. That means we can play our football. I’d happily sell Bellerin and Welbeck for 60 million if it helps fund a large portion of the amount needed for Lewandowski/Griezmann or someone of that calibre. PS: CB and GK are mandatory but i’m talking about signings who can strike fear… Read more »
yeah , 58 mill for bellerin
Will you ever reveal what the first word is?
I’m thinking:
Gloves off
Dance off
Bets off
Face off
Write off
…
Bog, piss, bollocking, fuck or even leave
You forgot naff, bugger and sod.
‘wax’, of course.
(And 50mil is not even close to enough).
I say keep him under a new manager. If he doesn’t develop then, sell him. He needs to work on his crossing and his positioning, esp the crossing which is awful tbh.
I feel like we have been the worst crossing team in the league for about the last decade and a half. Ozil is a gem at it but that’s about all and he isn’t wide that often
Yeah, nacho is quite alright too
I know right…i mean look at kolasinac… initially he was good but now all he does is put in stupid grounded passes that the defenders cut out. Everytime the ground pass…so frustrating. Whip one in man!
Is the first word “on”? I’m so good at word games.
not yet anyway , but come summer then we will see
He’s just going through a hard patch as is the whole team. He’s young and this spell will only make him stronger and wiser. I for one Hope we get to see him back to his best in a better balanced team soon.
So, which right fullback in the Premier League would you rather have? Right now, and for the next five years?
I would rather have Bellerin. Period.
