Arsenal U23s will be in action tonight for the first time in over a month when they host their Brighton & Hove Albion counterparts.
The young Gunners went into the Winter break in impressive form having won their last four games in succession, scoring a total of 12 goals in the process.
Prior to that Arsenal had struggled for form, and they still have some work to do to avoid relegation to the second tier. They are currently in 11th place in the table, one place and three points above the relegation zone.
It is always difficult to predict which players will be involved in U23 matches, with the lineup constantly changing.
However, one player who is a candidate to feature is Omar Rekik, with the centre-back in line to make his debut having joined Arsenal from Hertha Berlin.
Rekik has impressed in training, including during sessions with the first-team squad, and will now seek to show his quality in games.
Catalin Cirjan will also be eager to make an impact, with the Romanian, who can play as a midfielder or a winger, edging closer to making his first-team debut.
Zech Medley and Trae Coyle have returned from their loan spells at Gillingham, although it remains to be seen if they will be involved tonight.
Brighton, meanwhile, have been in disappointing form of late, having not won any of their last four games, which included them being beaten 5-1 by Tottenham Hotspur last time out.
Tonight’s game kicks off at 7pm, although it doesn’t appear that it will be shown anywhere.

Thank you Jeorge. This is just a suggestion, but I appreciate it if you can preview the youth games here, for people who like to follow them.

Backup GK signed- Mat Ryan. Is he good?
Love this, great job! Would really appreciate more news etc. regarding our youth team just like this article!
Will be interesting to see if Balogun plays. Chambers, Nelson, and Willock could also do with a game.
