Xhaka starts again. Who would have thought. Arteta trying to prove something now by naming same team. The man is out of his depth. Probably win today and few will think he’s getting it right. God help us.

Thierry Bergkamp (Xhaka Out)

Does Xhaka put a private investigator on all the Arsenal managers?😡

Man Manny

I agree with you. Arteta is not the man to take Arsenal back to the top. He has to leave at the end of the season.
It is going to be another frustrating afternoon even though we will nick it by the odd goal.

Leitch ARCHIE 3:16

Rematch against Everton, Blogs? You’ve got “Everton” instead of Southampton for the line ups! lol

Teryima Adi

Blogs is tired of typing. Copy and paste😜

Santi's Thigh Grab

I don’t want to play Everton again, didn’t work out so well the first time.

sAMa

Xhaka starting no good news for me.

Naked Cygan

Yes, but atleast we now only have one striker on the bench who will miss a great chance from 2 yards.

C.B.

Hope we start to pick up. Southampton are weak, according to my friend who is a fan. But so we’re Everton…

COYR!

Teryima Adi

Let’s beat the Saints! COYG!!!

Jack

Arteta must have been so impressed with the Everton performance that it’s an unchanged line up

BongoGooner

Just can’t stand xhaka…had enough of him.

Fatgooner

Auba out due to a “disciplinary breech” according to Arteta on Sky Sports just now.

Leitch ARCHIE 3:16

And so it begins, Fats. And so it begins. Arteta=dictator

Nainsley Aitland Miles

Sigh. It’s one thing after another with this club.

Saps

That’s foul.
What happened to “what happens in the dressing room, stays in the dressing room”?

Bleeding gums murphy

Arteta fallen out with another player. He can only handle youngsters and average players.

Bleeding gums murphy

Come to think of it bus fat Frank lampard was the same. It won’t last much longer me prays.

Bleeding gums murphy

He is a actually quoting non negotiables as well. What a fraud.

Bleeding gums murphy

He’s lost the dressing me thinks.

Bleeding gums murphy

Apparently Aubamayang liked the ronaldo tweet after they beat us. 😂😂 Arteta is the common denominator me thinks. Aubamayang Ozil saliba guendozi torriera Bellerin etc.

Vincent Ives

Can’t wait to see what 4 dimensional brain-melting subs we’re in for today! Okonkwo for Saka in the 44th minute? “He has been performing to a high standard in training…” Sure Mikel, why not!

Leitch ARCHIE 3:16

Cedric on for Martinelli as false 9 in the 65th minute because we want to protect our 1-0 lead

Henkamp

This had me rolling.

Artetist

Bit of a waste having Odegaard and Laca in there, could be some position overlap around the box. One thing is now clear Blogs, Arteta view’s Xhaca and Tierney as a partnership

SarcasmB0T

He’s doubling down – we’ve been here before.

“Everton: To follow.” – I know it’s an error, but considering Arteta’s managerial influences,
it sounds gloomily prophetic.

karl

Is Lakonga now on the naughty step with Pepe? What does it take to displace poor performers?

Icy

Benching a promising midfielder who had a good run of games and playing Xhaka, great.

Bleeding gums murphy

It’s a joke. As is this manager

Jack

The negativity here seems a bit over the top given we’re only 4 points off top 4

Bleeding gums murphy

You must be watching something I and vast majority of arsenal fans I know are watching.

Jack

I’m watching a team who are just off the top 4 despite having the youngest average age in the league, and a much-changed squad who need time to bed in and gel. Our form has been mixed, and I don’t agree with some of the decisions either, but we’re hardly in a disastrous spot. Much depends on our form in the second half of the season, but if we can get some rhythm and string some wins together in the new year, we could end up in a very good position- and make pronouncements like yours look a bit silly… Read more »

Saint

Is Leno injured?

Nainsley Aitland Miles

Yep, groin.

Public Elneny

Yeah, groin thing

Artetist

Nooo not Everton again?! Please I don’t want to see Evertom lone up!! Please noo

Thierry Bergkamp (Xhaka Out)

Every time Xhaka starts, the more I lose any passion for this team.

I once had a back and forth here about me wanting Xhaka injured, which I denied.
I’ve now changed my mind.

Now watch him make a few passes which a pro midfielder should make, and see all of the fans here rating him highly again, until his next fuck up

Thierry Bergkamp (Xhaka Out)

Am I on some naughty list of something?
Why have all posts been “awaiting approval, ever since the Everton game

Sean

Am I the only one who is fine with Xhaka starting? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not his biggest fan, but he needs match fitness before Partey leaves for AFCON. If anything Sambi should be starting ahead of Partey.

Leitch ARCHIE 3:16

This. Logic. Xhaka is sympotamtic of the mediocrity we have endured in the last 5 years but we are hardly going to buy a shiny new midfielder anytime soon to solve our problems in the midfield. Might as well get him up to speed for the tough months ahead.

SarcasmB0T

Am I the only one who has genuinely lost all passion for the Xhaka debate?
He’s average at the best of times and represents everything I hate about a certain type of hypermasculine wannabe, but he’s going to play literally 100% of available minutes under this manager, and his performances are going to always be 5/10.
Oh, and he’ll get dumb cards and cost us games.
We’re also going to wear red and white at home and gold away.

Viju Jacob

Xhaka the slow coach train wreck again the team, and this reminds me of Emery being stubborn till the time he got the boot

Announce Bendtner

Disappointed not to see Lokonga.
Also have a feeling we’re going to be missing a little something without ESR starting.

Nikolaj

How on earth are we starting the same team as last time?
I would much prefer to have either Lokonga or AMN start instead of Xhaka. We rarely play good football with him in the team

YoungGun

This type of team is perfect to play against with a Sambi and Ainsley in the mid and a martinelli up front. Imagine having a man of the match performance against newcastle and then being dropped for 3 games in a row.

Chrispy

Now theres a team thats going to ruin my Saturday.

SarcasmB0T

Given the recent Aubameyang news, I wouldn’t be surprised if this one turned out to be a complete trainwreck.

Crazy pressure on the team to deliver a convincing win – which they’ve rarely done this season.
Arteta is doing this to himself.

Merson's grin

That was a perfect Arsenal goal. 8 passes from keeper to Lacazette. Simply wonderful stuff.
