Welcome to a brand new episode of the Arsenal Women Arsecast, the number one podcast about Arsenal Women.
On this episode of the Arsenal Women Arsecast, Tim talks to Emirates Stadium Venue Director Tom McCann about the decision to play a minimum of six AWFC matches at Emirates Stadium next season. Tom gives us an insight into the marketing strategy, the planning required and why Arsenal have decided to play more AWFC games at Emirates Stadium.
Then in part 2, Tim talks to author and journalist Carrie Dunn about her new book ‘Unsuitable for Females‘ on the history of women’s football in the UK. Tim and Carrie talk about the difficulties of documenting history accurately when records are so sketchy, as well as some of the stories and characters she uncovered in writing the book.

Thanks for this – a great listen, and a handy reminder to order a copy of Carrie’s book.
Great to know the the immense work being put in the background to push the Arsenal Women’s game forward. Thanks mate.
GREAT show as always, really interesting. I have to say l do love going to The Emirates to see girls as l used to to see the guys but l really enjoy going to Meadow Park too. Its so easy to get to and park (l travel down from Northampton) and it feels really homely. Plus l can swap ends at half time 😁👍
