Arsenal have confirmed that 19-year-old goalkeeper Ovie Ejeheri will spend the second half of the season on loan with Finnish side SJK Seinajoki.
We’ve looked them up and can confirm they are real despite sounding like the type of name Blogs would use in an April Fool article.
Ovie spent the first half of the season with Chelmsford in the National League South and kept 11 clean sheets in 23 appearances.
Given the time of year and how far north SJK Seinajoki is on the map, we hope he’s packed more than his keeper gloves.
Ovie is the second academy keeper to head abroad during this window. Arthur Okonkwo joined the Austrian side Sturm Graz on loan earlier in the week.
Sorry but WHO…..and WHERE?
Ovie Ejeheri. To SJK Seinajoki. It’s right there in the article, mate.
Ah….your sarcasm filter must be broken.
Check your comedy filter, it appears to be clogged.
Thats me owned then with that comment.
Yours has a gaping hole.
Much like your missus last night
Teehee…😬
Ummm, good luck!
We seem to be collecting goalkeepers as I can’t remember a time when the club had so many but this lad has potential and time abroad should accelerate his development, all the same there’s a lot of talent in front of him.
Seems like a character test kind of loan, similar to Smith-Rowe in Germany.
Yep! He’ll experience darkness, melancholy and coldhere in Finland. Also smell cow shit as Seinäjoki is proper farmer city 😁
