Foord starts for Arsenal against Everton Women

Caitlin Foord returns to the starting line-up for Arsenal’s WSL game away at Everton this evening after a hamstring injury. She comes into the starting line-up for Katherine Kuhl.

Manu Zinsberger starts in goal with Sabrina D’Angelo on the bench. Steph Catley makes the squad after missing the Brighton game with a thigh strain.

Lotte Wubben-Moy, Beattie and Rafaelle start in a back three with Maritz and McCabe as wing-backs. Lia Walti, Frida Maanum, Victoria Pelova and Caitlin Foord play in a box midfield with Stina Blackstenius leading the line.

Catley is named among the substitutes and number 56 is Godfrey rather than Gregory.


Hope I’m wrong, but the studs up tackle on Walti was on the inside of her leg? If so that probably means tibia rather than fibula, which is obviously far worse seeing that the tibia is weight bearing.
