COYG!

Bleeding gums murphy

Smith Rowe, trossard and Nelson can all make difference from bench. Big game coming up.

StefanPsy

I hope Raya won’t cost us points…again!

Nainsley Aitland Miles

That’s a very poor take. He hasn’t cost us a single point this season.

At a very stretch maybe the Mudryk goal at the Bridge but that was a fluke goal more than an error, and the whole team were below par for most of that match.

The 1-0 defeats at Newcastle and Villa were due to our own poor finishing in the final third.

NorthernGooner

You can say that any and all defeats are due to poor finishing, and you’d be half right….the other half is poor defending and that includes the goalie

StefanPsy

Yeah…how many times the boys had to work extra hard to bail him out.

Martin

If he had caught the cross at Newcastle, then the controversies would t have happened.

Martin

Terrible at crosses. Nearly cost us after all that domination. 🫣🫣🫣

Pavan

What happened to Jorginho?

Man Manny

From what Arteta said, he might be among the coaching crew already.

Foot problem

Dada

Went for a jog

Sam

Why is the headline “Rice starts”

Why is that surprising? Did he pick up a niggle and was a doubt that I didn’t no about?

Also where is Jorginho? Why isn’t he on the Bench among the ‘impacters’

Henkamp

It was reported earlier today that a sickness bug affected the team (hence, Martinelli was sick on Tuesday). It was said Rice would be out and sparked a reaction on Twitter.

Eric Blair

Elneny too?

Dr. Gooner

Picked up a knock vs PSV

Sam

Thanks! Though I’m a bit worried now because Jorginho has a foot injury so maybe Arteta decided to risk playing Rice even though he’s a bit sick because Jorginho/Partey/Elneney are all injured and we don’t have a replacement for him. Perhaps we could put Kiwior there

Cyprus The Immortal Gooner

How many of us still take a quick look at the lineup hoping Ramsdale is in there?

Dada

I am ashamed to say I still do.

NorthernGooner

Me, if anything just to convince myself that what arteta has been saying about competition in all positions is a big pile of steaming shite.

I hate to say this but i wonder if Ramsdale will end up going to newcastle or chelsea. I certainly dont expect him to sit around for too long and nor he should.

Wengerball

Yea that whole thing about subbing a keeper at the 60th minute was just a bold face lie to deflect the criticism.

Dr. Gooner

Well, Brighton are starting Milner and Veltman at the FB, which might be the slowest FB tandem in the league. de Zerbi has gone for experience there. Neither Mitoma nor Adingra renowned for their defensive acumen on the wings. Could be a good day for Saka and Martinelli if they’ve brought their game today.

Dr. Gooner

It’s clear they want to be on the front foot today which means it’s crucial Arsenal establish themselves in midfield and win the duels against Gross and Gilmour. But Arsenal will get chances today, that is clear.

Nainsley Aitland Miles

Mitoma’s a brilliant player, looking forward to seeing White deal with him.

TotsOfJack

How on earth is it still 0-0? COYG, get your shooting boots on ffs!

Great Kalu

It’s games like this one which highlight the obvious need for a goal scorer in this team.

Dr. Gooner

We have goal scorers all over the pitch. One of them will take a chance in the second half.

YoungGun

So far looking good. Saka cooking the right side. Defence on clean. Let’s just finish some chances.

He’s got no hair but we don’t care...

Ahh that Ramsdale exit to Chelsea is getting ever closer. Looking forward to strengthen a London rival managed by ex sc*m.
Merry Christmas Chelsea love Arsenal!

FMT

White seems to play his worst games of the season against Brighton 🙄
