Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Southampton which was originally supposed to be played on Saturday March 21st has been rescheduled having been selected for TV broadcast.
The game will now take place on Sunday March 22nd, with a 4.30 kick off. The game will be shown live on Sky Sports.
Because both sides are still involved in the FA Cup, it could potentially be moved again. The tournament’s quarter-final fixtures take place on the weekend of March 20th – 23rd, so should either side progress that far, the game would be postponed to a later date.
There’s not a great deal more to add to this story, but it feels a bit too short to publish.
Should we worry about those kind of things though? I’m not sure. All the information is there, what more do people need? A pithy comment? A mildly amusing anecdote? A ‘hilarious’ GIF reaction?
Maybe we’re just overthinking it. Let’s just cross this Shane Long shaped bridge when we come to it.
If we beat Olympiacos in the Europa League the game would’ve been moved anyway, as we play the preceding Thursday…
We played well in the EL even under Emery, maybe we’ll put up some exciting display again in that cup competition.
Easier option .. just leave it as it was !!
