Lukasz Fabianski, already ruled out of Euro 2012 through injury, is fearful the problem could keep him out for an extended period.
The Polish stopper, who is seeking a move away from the club this summer, injured the same shoulder he’d previously damaged and it was that absence that provided Wojciech Szczesny with his chance at first team football.
Ironically, it was Szczesny who caused the initial injury during a warm up, and Fabianski is hoping it’s not as serious this time around.
“I hope my break will not as long as at previous time ,” he said.
“Maybe the results of the next scans will be more positive. I’m praying for it, I don’t want to have another operation. However, I don’t know anything more now.”
Fabianski played well for Poland against Latvia last week and the latest injury problem threatens his chances of finding another club, and regular football, for the new season.

With thanks to our friends at http://gunners.com.pl/
Just amputate it… im sure he cant get any worse
Hahaha I really like Fabianski, but that comment was actuall pretty funny. Hope he gets better
People forget just how good he was playing until scz assassinated his shoulder. If it wasn’t for that injury he’d have likely kept the number 1 shirt. Good luck to him I say.
Fingers crossed for him he’ll be ok. For his own future. He needs first team football and won’t get it with us
so now offloading him is unlikely because (besides us ) how many teams like splashing out on injured players?
So we end up keeping him in the squad, paying is wages, him not being able to play for us even if needed due to injury and we will still need to sign another keeper seeing as mannone is probably going to leave…fucks sake!
not to worry. we can allocate such expenses under the social welfare community fund accounting code.
I bet that’s his cum face.
I hope he stays, he’ll be a good backup to Szczesny. Check this link: pcstorage.org, you’ll like what it as to say.
Cheers Nick. Personally, I’d recommend this site; http://www.linktoabadwebsite.com.
Stop advertising your shit on this site you cretin…this is an Arsenal Football blog NOT your private marketing demography you moron!
It’s a bit harsh to blame the prior injury on Chesney.. All he did was kick a ball at him!
His shoulder was sent into a state of shock because he actually saved it
“All he did was kick a ball at him!”
Never mind the physical injuries caused, the psychological damage from the panic caused by seeing a ball flying towards him will take years to get over.
I am pretty sure he only ever claimed crosses with one arm anyway…..
He actually looked quite good at defending crosses against Latvia. It’s a shame really, both from an Arsenal perspective of getting a decent fee for him and a shame for him personally since he deserves first team football somewhere.
Lucasz ohh Lukasz Fabianski
he’s so unlucky
he gets injured when he wants
