I am disappointed. Dundalk didn’t put any effort into the match, it was kinda annoying. The energy was dead from them, our players did what they wanted.
Bare minimum the Dundalk players should have run their socks off, and it looked like they didn’t care.

Hes definitely back. Played a half for our U23’s against Man Utd the other week. Guessing hes just being eased back very slowly. Really hope he gets a chance soon

It’s not a 4-3-3, it’s the patent pending Arteta false 5 atb. Xhaka will drop into LCB, Kola central, Mustafi right in possession while AMN becomes the 3rd man in midfield. Out of possession AMN drops wide left.

Elneny doesn’t have the range of passing to play CB for Arteta. He’ll be the RB in possession and the DM in defensive phases.

I think football would be better if the pitch was more like a hockey rink. An order of magnitude smaller, no outs unless the ball leaves the stadium, and the pitch is extended behind the goal.
