Arsenal Women will welcome supporters back to home games from this Sunday the club have confirmed. The Gunners play at home to Birmingham City on Sunday at 2pm and they will be able to accommodate 900 supporters at the 4,000 capacity stadium.
Grounds in Tier 2 areas are allowed to have up to 2,000 spectators under government regulations but with the need for social distancing and for the dugout and tunnel areas to be kept absolutely clear, Meadow Park will instead take 900 fans starting this Sunday.

It won’t be the first time the Gunners have played in front of a crowd since the covid pandemic forced games behind closed doors in March. Their away fixture at West Ham in September was part of a pilot for the return of spectators and 1,000 West Ham Women season ticket holders were allowed to attend.
However, it is the first time they will play in front of their own crowd at Meadow Park since their FA Cup victory over Lewes on February, 23rd. Tickets will be released tomorrow and AWFC members will receive an email today with further details on how to purchase.
