Arsenal’s third kit for the 2021/22 season is now available to buy online and in-store at Arsenal and adidas outlets.
Clearly influenced by the Nike designs of the mid-90s, the shirt features turquoise and navy lightning strikes with red used as an accent colour. It has a two-tone adidas logo and a blue crew neck collar. The shorts and socks are also blue.
As usual these days, there are two versions of the adult men’s short-sleeve kit available; ‘authentic’, at a whopping £100, and ‘fan’ which retails at £65. The women’s short-sleeve kit also costs £65.
Arsenal released the all-yellow away kit back in May and the home kit last month.
But can it play number 10 and right back?

Apart from Norwich and Watford, where we could wear first strip anyway, which teams would second strip clash with to require this?
We’ll need it if we play Lens if they somehow get into the Carabao Cup.
Maybe it can play on it’s own?
Just like ‘Bedknobs and Broomsticks’ where the empty suits of armour come alive…
It couldn’t play any worse than Xhaka for a start.

I love this kit. Shame we will be lucky to finish mid table in it. Probably should have staying away from the marketing slogan ‘where we belong’.

Devastated they didn’t opt for the 1995 style blue and navy stripey socks.
That was my first thought! We’ve gone back to hooped socks (there was a time when they were referred to as ‘stockings’) with the home kit – they could have done the same here to match.
Still, I suppose we have far more bigger issues to worry about than our fucking socks..🙄
They can wear corsets for all I care. Where are the transfers we need for the coming season?

Or – like in the past – which Euro league away group games we will use to proudly present our third kit, while we could have also worn our second kit.

At what age does it become unacceptable for fully grown adults to wear football shirts with their favorite player name on the back? Or even worse, their own name?
Probably the at age where if you hung out, the player’s parents would be suspicious or worried.
Actually quite like this one. I had the original blue lightning strike kit that was more subtle than this one. Reminds me of smashing my Dad’s shed window when I smacked a shot over the 5 a side goal.
Good kit, it’s a shame we’ll have the same under preforming players wearing it, another long season ahead but at least the kits look decent
All kits are crap until we actually do ‘something’ in ’em..
