Reports this afternoon suggest that Emi Martinez is for a season-long loan spell at Wolves.
The Express and Star say ‘Boss Kenny Jackett has confirmed there is a verbal agreement in place with the Gunners to bring the 22-year-old to Molineux’.
Currently third choice behind Petr Cech and David Ospina, the Argentine is another player who is at an age where his development can only be furthered by playing more regularly.
Martinez made 6 appearances for the club last season, and a further 8 for Rotherham in a late-season loan spell.
Martinez loan means Matt Macey will be third choice goalkeeper for first-team. Also means Arsenal have just 24 players in first-team squad.
