No doubt many of you have seen this already, but yesterday a picture emerged showing all three Arsenal kits for the 2018-19 season.
Mesut Ozil is wearing the home kit; Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is in the away kit; while Henrikh Mkhitaryan sports the third kit.

This is the final year of our current deal with Puma, and as I outlined on the Arsecast Extra on Monday, I’m told that it will be Adidas doing the necessary from the 2019-20 season onwards.
Any official announcement is likely to come after the current kits have been fully launched and marketed, but it’ll be interesting to see how their designs go down.
To be fair to Puma, they started quite well, but over the years the designs and colour schemes – particularly for the away kits – have left fans unimpressed.
This season’s kits will also be the first to feature a sleeve sponsor after Arsenal did a deal with Travel Rwanda to promote tourism in the east African country.
I know citeh are the team to match, but this is taking it to obscene levels.
Atleast everybody is wearing an arm band, LOL
Good catch, we need all of our players to feel captain. This will help resolve the mental issue.
They look like sp*rs kits.
I can still Kanoute and his adam’s apple piping out of that away and third kit.
The only positive is we won’t be signing ledly King to wear that Puma- Kappa hybrid.
With all his experience and rubbing off youngster stuff, the kids would suffer rubbing the saliva every time he talks.
Excuse me while I throw up.

The best designs are forgotten in a poor season. Just win in them, period.
Wasn’t a fan already, but those away shorts are actually vile.
and Aubameyang’s off for a swim.
Totally disagree. It is the home kit that is awful. I can’t stand it. Now Gazidis wants the team to look like City and Barcelona away.
Could we please just have a yellow away shirt? Please?!?
That nike jersey with blue collar was our one of the last away jersey which seems to be great in which our Ozil made Arsenal debut.
The away kit’s shorts…..meh at best.
When it comes to Arsenal… blue should just be a complete no go (like the mobile menu on this site!!)
If you ignore the fact that blue has been a prominent colour on our away shirts (and early home shorts and socks) throughout most of our history http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Arsenal/Arsenal-change-kits.html
Just because it happened in the past doesn’t mean it’s right. Would you be happy with a fully blue home kit jersey ala 1966 then?
Just like Manure mans who I’m sure would all be in agreement to never have a fully grey strip ever again.
i agree that just because something happened in the past doesn’t mean its right.
However when you are talking about the traditional colours of a football team its pretty important. I would be fine with a fully blue 1966 style AWAY shirt.
I may be wrong, but it looks like each shirt has a different collar design as well? Not that that’s the biggest problem with these kits…
I’m surprised that with all of the various statistics that clubs invest in to improve performance, we never hear of research into how different kits affect performance (such as how visible they are in peripheral vision, etc.) playing a role in the kit design. That away kit looks like our players would be in stealth mode.
The research should include fans survey.
Puma has the worse designs.
Just keep it simple. The Arsenal colors and design is iconic, if it isn’t broken don’t fix it.
Somehow I think Adidas designs will turn out to be the worst. I think the Yellow kit and the Maroon kit were some of our best, but saying this kit looks bad is a little too farcical. My two cents.
Looks like PEA is wearing a bra!! I think they’ve made the second and third strips so poor that we have to like the the first strip as the least offensive. I’d love to know what the contract for shirt designers says – who has the last word?
It seems like Puma knew they were out of the door and basically decided to do whatever they wanted with the 2nd and 3rd kits. Horrid, both of them, especially the shorts. But if we win major silverware, they’ll become famous or infamous kits. The best kit is the kit that we win shit in
Cant wait for Adidas ones, but collectively better than last season, at least for me. Offtopic, posted on other thread but want to hear opinions: I saw a post linking us to Sportings Gelson Martins on free, cause of some controversy at the club, a number of players are reportedly looking to quit. I wonder why are we not linked with Willem Carvalho again, since hes the most likely to leave, and i belive it ticks the most boxes we require. He did stagnate a bit, but i think he would be a better option out of the other two… Read more »
Not that I care so much for the links but what happened there was taking hostilities to a new high. They seemed to be in the title race with Porto and benfica with 3-4 games to go. Then they lost a home game and two days later fans played them a visit on the training ground with a few crowbars and clubs .
Their president goes on and publicly slams them for going out to Atletico in the semi and now everyone is on the run.
The coach is already swimming in Saudi league cash.
Rumour hath it that said president was directly responsible for ensuring that security staff were mysteriously absent that day at the training ground.
What is fact is that Rui Patricio has already taken successful legal action to have his contract voided for breach by the club and others are following suit.
Which one is the yellow and blue one ?
I believe our 2nd should always be the Yellow/Blue one. You can do whatever you want with the 3rd…
That blue kit really sucks and poor old Mkhitaryans head looks a bit huge in it. Or maybe I just gotta go spec savers.
he looks computer generated, like all of the Neo fight scenes in the second and third matrix movies. just not quite human enough…
Fucking God awful. I cringe knowing these kits will be remembered cause we’ll win a cup or two this season. Arsehole Puma, the bitter sweet double edged sword
POOma have really lived up to there name here…
It looks like someone has incorporated the pisstake fantasy football kit generator in to real life
Is it just me who thinks they aren’t that bad? Besides the home kit.
Have we ever won anything in a season when the away shirt wasn’t yellow / gold?
Now the slogan is “everyone’s a captain”
Mkhi looks like he’s just rocked up in Magaluf for a stag do with the lads, all of whom are wearing the same shirt but with their nicknames on the back.
I’m not sure what to make of those shorts for the away kit. All in all though, not bad. Not as bad as most of us make it out to be. I would have loved a yellow/gold kit though
Whatever the kit, all I want is good football and success on the pitch
@CorpoarteMan I’m with you … We have Ozil, Auba, Laca and Miki in our team at the height of their powers, with Ramsey-Wilshere Arsenal DNA in close pursuit, supported by a crop of energetic players all under 23 yrs old. Also add a couple of in-coming battle-hardened mentors to strengthen the away-game-generous back-line. Plus a new Rock-Hard DM to be signed soon?? Plus Wenger finally bowed out to the dismay of our rivals … and our new coach knows he has landed the most exciting job in club football! Conclusion. Emery motivates our talented attack, drills the midfield and tightens… Read more »
And they wonder why we’re only good at home games.. ?
My eyes! The goggles do nothing!
Out of respect for Arsene Wenger, Puma are determined to go out in similar fashion
No wonder most people dont like arsenal fans. Fucking winge-bots.
Its just a kit. They really are not really that bad, they are simplw enough and are not covered in camouflage or floral print. And im certain most of you lot are not go-to’s on fashion advice. Rubbish jeans and shite shoes galore.
Agreed 100%. There are much bigger issues in the world than the color/design of our kit. Nobody is forcing you to buy it and unless you’re a playing member of the club you are not forced to wear it. We don’t have to find fault in everything. Accept things for what they are sometimes. The amount of nitpicking is quite comical.
the fly Emirates logo is falling off my son’s Lacazette home kit. He’s 2orn it no more than 10 times, its fine though as we only spent about £103.99 FFS..
I actually like the home kit and don’t really mind the third kit. I don’t like navy and claret together, so the second kit’s a no-no Would have preferred it to by yellow and blue. If we win the title in them, I’ll absolutely love ’em!
It’s a mockery.
Just sort defence couldn’t give a fuck if u were wareing just bibs
