Arsenal Women have announced another prestigious pre-season friendly against Champions League finalists Barcelona. The game will take place on Wednesday, 14th August at Meadow Park at 7.30pm.
The Gunners are also giving fans the opportunity to be photographed with the WSL trophy before the game. Barcelona boast ex-Gunners Asisat Oshoala and Vicky Losada in their ranks, as well as England international Toni Duggan and Dutch winger Lieke Martens.
The friendly is part of a high profile line-up for the women’s team this summer, who will take part in the Emirates Cup on Sunday, 28th July, facing Bayern Munich Frauen. Then there is a behind closed doors game against Wolfsburg in Austria, before the team take on Barcelona and then a North London derby against Spurs on 25th August.
