Design for Arsenal’s new 2020/21 third kit leaked

Thanks to Footy Headlines, we have have a clearer idea of the design of Arsenal’s third kit for the 2020/21 season.

The kit specialists mentioned a couple of months ago that the strip would feature a combination of ‘legend marine’ blue and ‘light flash orange’.

It turns out, that the jacket below, shared by us in a post on Friday, is part of the same collection and an indication that the body will feature a two-tone blue, mottled / tie-dye effect.

Should that be true, it’ll look quite similar to a greenish training top we use this season.

Footy Headlines think Arsenal’s third shirt will replicate this design.

The shorts and socks of the new third kit, which will be available to buy in August, will also be blue.

The designs for Arsenal’s home and away kits for next season have already been split opinions.

So long as I actually see auba in that kit through next season… ! Hehe

This.

It Is What It Is

Home kit….acceptable 7/10

Bloody Away kit….funnily enough, I can see this one growing on me from a (6) 7 to an 8/10.
it will sell and make every body happy.

Third kit – Except there is a lot of yellow there, I’m not impressed. That is Puma level. Complacency.

I expect one crazy, tongue wagging, dividing, lucrative kit every season. As such, the other two are to be taken seriously. Not for bonus points.

In short, no to blue and orange.

The away kit is hideous. I can’t imagine wearing it but for Halloween, when I will dress as a zombie.

I wouldn’t mind the blue tie dye if it was a cheap T shirt from sports shop sale. However, for Arsenal it should be red home and yellow away. Anything else is just money spinning at a time when a lot of people don’t have excess funds.

The kit looks dull and less attractive

Yep, good job. Well Street innit.

It’s funny how kits grow us as fans, I recall the original bruised banana kit back in the day, a kit that really wasn’t welcomed when he came out in the mid 1990’s and now it’s iconic, so who knows how fans will think about the raspberry ripple kit in a year or so?

I personally liked the gold away kit we wore when winning the Double in 2001/02 and the red current kit in 2005/06.

The worst? Easily the green and blue away kit in the 1980’s, hideous…

If the team performs well, it certainly helps a kit. I never like Arsenal in blue shirts though. Blue is Chelsea, Everton, Man City.

At least it’s better than the bloodbath kit.

Honestly if you like that kit you probably wear “No fear” t shirts emblazoned with fake blood, mud or graffiti paint with some edgy bmx slogan on the back and wear it proudly to ‘spoons to chat with your Brexit friends.

This shirt is at least wearable without making you loo like a poundshop hardman.

It’s not bad, I’ll give it a 6 out of 10. I’d actually prefer it if the orange were a little bolder!

It’s certainly better than the abbatoir floor mop that we will laughingly call our away kit next year.

I don’t get why people don’t like the sway kit though. I’m definitely getting it.
Yes, we all know our colours are traditionally Red & Yellow, it doesn’t mean we can’t welcome other concepts sometimes.
I’m a big fan of white Jerseys, the fake red blood all over isnt that bad either.
Well, the players better bleed blood for the club and fans next season to get us to the UCL
