Stuttgart have confirmed that Dinos Mavropanos requires surgery after suffering a knee injury in a friendly game against Freiburg.
The Greek will undergo an operation on his meniscus in the coming days and is presumably facing a lengthy lay-off.

Mavropanos joined Stuttgart on loan for the year in the summer after a noteworthy second half of last season at Nurnberg in Bundesliga 2.
It’s not been a great day for our loanees.
Earlier today, it was confirmed that Matteo Guendouzi is in self-isolation in Germany after testing positive for Covid-19.
ℹ️ @MatteoGuendouzi has tested positive for Covid-19 after returning from international duty. There has been no contact with any Hertha players or staff. He is symptom-free and feeling well, but will now self-isolate for 10 days.

The Frenchman appears to have picked up the virus on international duty with France under-21s. His new club Hertha Berlin confirmed he’d not been in contact with any of their players.
While he’s probably frustrated at having to wait for his Bundesliga debut at least he’s not showing any symptoms.
All the best to Dinos and Matteo.
